About

That cello bow with a pencil on the frog represents the two things I’m most passionate about: making music and coming up with ideas. It also represents the extent of my photoshop skills.

I was born in Chicago to Jewish-Argentinian parents. Being the youngest of five, and only the third of my siblings to be born in the US, I spoke Spanish before I learned English. I also learned to grab food at the table before it was all gone.

Having the privilege of regularly traveling to Argentina and Spain to visit extended family throughout my life, and being raised in an immigrant household here at home, I learned something at a very young age: your world isn’t the world.

And as soon as I realized that, my fascination with observing people - how they think, act, feel, and why they do what they do - began. To give you some idea of when that was, my first trip abroad was to Brazil. I was 3 months old.

I truly believe my bent for human observation led me to advertising. That, and a love for entertaining people. Whether making them laugh, making them think, or helping them see everyday things in surprising new ways, advertising has provided me the avenue to do it all.

It’s also made it possible for me not have to wear a suit every day. Which, considering I started my professional career as a banker, was quite a relief.

I love writing headlines.

I love thinking of big brand platforms.

And I love uncovering human truths.

Truths like this one: there are very few of you who probably read this far. To those who did, thanks. To those who didn’t, well, you’re not reading this anyway so go jump in a lake.
